Languages: German, English (basic), Farm: The big, old farmhouse is built in the traditio­nal style, typical for this region. It is in a secluded area. There is a lot of space around fields, meadows, and a forest (0.5 km away) and you have a nice panorama of the Izery Mountains. Fruit and some vegetables are grown. The farmers have a baby. The hostess offers delicious vegeta­rian meals and can organise such activities as relaxation exercises, aerobics and callisthenics. The camping place is in a quite spot near an orchard. Toilets and hot showers are available in the house. Recommen­ded for families with children. Accommodation: three rooms (2x2, 1x4) with separate bathroom; campsite. Surroundings: There are castle ruins, spa towns, two lakes and many walking and bicycle paths; in nearby Czech ski-lifts (5 km). Route description: Swiecie is 43-km south‑west of Jelenia Gora and 40 km southeast of Zgorzelec (a border‑crossing with Germany). Drive from Jelenia Gora in direction Zgorzelec through Gryfow Slaski. In Gryfow Slaski turn in direction Swieradow Zdroj. Turn off this road following the signpost Swiecie. Follow the signposts until you rich Swiecie. In the village there are signposts which will show the way to the farm. By bus: from Zgorzelec or Jelenia Gora to Luban Slaski (they go almost every hour). From Luban Sl. to Swiecie by bus, direction Swierardow Zdroj, get down at the stop Swiecie Sklep (0.3 km.). Prices: 20-30 zl/night, dinner: 20 zl.

Farm: This is a middle-sized (12 ha) traditional farm. The farmer has goats, chickens, four dogs and many cats.  Welsh ponies (20) are raised and sold here. The farmhouse is a beautiful, big, old building kept in the traditional style. On the farm there are ponds for fishing and swimming. It is also a great place for walking, biking and bird watching. Accommodation: six rooms (5x2, 1x3) with four bathrooms; campsite. Surroundings:  castles in Gryfow and Czocha, Izerskie Mountains. Route description: From Luban or Jelenia Gora go to Gryfow on road S l. In Gryfow turn in the direction of the village of Ubocze. In the village of Ubocze turn right in the direction of Oleszna Podgorska. The farm is at the end of the village on a hill. Prices: 8-10 Euro/night, breakfast: 2 Euro.

Languages: German, English, Farm: This is a big farm in the process of transition into oragnic. The hosts raise horses.  They organise  horse or horse-car tours in the surroundings. Nearby ski lifts (0,5 km), swimming pools (0,7 km), numerous bike and walkers paths. Accommodation: four rooms with bathrooms; for guest’s use there is dining room, dining room, fireplace with bar and pond. Surroundings: Szklarska Poreba in one of the most interesting town not only in this region but in whole Poland, because of Karknosze National Park (1 km). Prices: from 75 zl/night with breakfast.

Languages: German, English (basic), Farm: It is a middle-sized (23 ha) traditional farm. The farmers grow grains, potatoes and vegetables, keep cows, pigs, chickens, horses, dogs and cats. There is also an orchard with apple and cherry trees. The farm is in a valley between two mountains. It is a great area for walking tours. The farmhouse is a big stone building, built in 1872. You can hire bikes (3). Surroundings: Nearby there is the 13th century Chojnik castle, where knight tournaments are held annually. There is also a horse-riding school. Nearby Karkonoski National Park and ski centers in Szklarska Poreba, Karpacz or Jakuszyce. Accommodation: three rooms (2x2, 1x3) with separate bathrooms and tv, campsite. Road description: Pakoszow (a part of Piechowice) is halfway between Jelenia Gora and Szklarska Poreba. From Jelenia Gora take the E-65 towards Szklarska Poreba. After you pass the village of Wojcieszyce, take the first road on the left. The farm is the third building on the left. Prices: from 30 zl/night, there is a possibility to buy health food from the farm.  


5. KOPANIEC

Languages: German, English, Russian. Farm: This is a small traditional farm. The farmers grow grains, vegetable and fruit. They raise cows, chickens and rabbits. The farm is in the Izera Mountains. A great place for picking herbs and mushrooms, walking in the mountains, and photo-hunting. The farmers organise workshops in ceramics and stained glass. It is possible to see several species of wild animals in the forests. Accommodation: one room (1x4)with separate bathroom; campsite. Surroundings: Near Karkonosze and Izery Mountains, monuments in Jelenia Gora, Kowary, Kopaniec. Route description: Kopaniec is on the way from Jelenia Gora to Zgorzelec. From Jelenia Gora go in the direction of Szklarska Poreba. Around 15 km from Jelenia Gora turn right, in the direction of Barcinek. Pass the villages of Piastow and Kromow and you will come out in Kopaniec. The farm is in the highest part of the village. By train from Jelenia Gora to Stara Kamienica and from there 5 km on foot.Prices: 5-10 Euro/night, breakfast: 3-5 Euro, dinner 4-8 Euro, supper 3-5 Euro.

Languages: German, English (basic), Farm: The 19th century farmhouse, surrounded by 6 ha of land, was built in Tirol style by  immigrants. The farmers grow grain, potatoes and vegetables and keep cows and horses. In the front of the house there is a beautiful garden. Nearby there are a few ponds where it is possible to swim and fish or eat freshly smoked fish. Surroundings: The closeness to the Karkonosze mountains makes this farm a great starting point for walking tours. Accommodation: three rooms (2x2, 1x4) with separate bathroom; campsite. Route description: The farm is located near the road from Cieplice to Karpacz, between the villages of Sosnowka and Milkow. Take the road from Jelenia Gora to Karpacz through Cieplice. After passing Sosnowka the road will go up a hill. The farm is on the top of it, on the left side. Prices: 25 zl /night, breakfast/supper: 10 zl, dinner: 17 zl.

Languages: German, Farm: Farm is situated at the foot of Srebrna Gora mountain ('Silver Hill'), on the south slope of Kaczawskie Gory in Jezow Sudecki. From the hilltop there is a beautiful view of the Jeleniogorska Valley, Karkonosze Mountains, Rudawy Janowickie, Izerskie Mountains. While the village is located in a quiet and peaceful area, you can experience living in a pleasant rustic manner. Since many years, farmers have maintained their traditions in keeping the household. Farmers keep cows, chickens, and perfect for recreation horses. You can try milk, fresh kinds of cheese and eggs as well as horse-riding. By the buildings there is a lot of greenery including flowers, ornamental bushes and trees. You can relax on benches, places arranged in an interesting way for making a grill, or take your children to a mini-playground. Accommodation: three rooms (2x2, 1x4), with separate bathrooms and kitchen, apartment (4-6 persons). Surroundings: There is  Landscape Park of River Bobr Valley, water reservoir in Pilichowice. If you've had enough of car fumes and busy traffic, if you want to smell new-mown hay and listen to the birds singing in the morning, if you long for peace and quiet, if you miss Nature and want to discover it - We Welcome! Languages: French, English, German, Farm: EKO-TOURIST-FARM in Bukowka is a 50 hectare ecological farm located one kilometre away from the nearest road and village. As the place is surrounded by forests, mountains and meadows there are many picturesque views you can admire there. The immediate neighbourhood, consisting of all the farm buildings, makes a big and beautiful garden. It is place highly recommended to parents and their children where they have plenty of room to play safely far from the road. In 2002 the farm received a title: "Environmentalfriedly Farm". Route description: From Jelenia Gora go southward to Kowary (road 367). From Kowary go in the direction of Lubawka (road 368 and then 369). Bukowka lies 3 km before Lubawka. From Walbrzych drive westward to Kamienna Gora (367), then southward towards the Czech-Polish border, until you reach Lubawka. Then go in the direction of Kowary or “Przelecz Kowarska”. Bukowka is about 3 km from Lubawka. In Bukowka turn right at the bus stop (coming from Walbrzych), or left (coming from Jelenia Gora). The farm is 1 km from here. By bus from Kamienna Gora and from Jelenia Gora. By train from Jelenia Gora to Lubawka or from Walbrzych to Lubawka. Train station 5 km, Lubawka. Bus stop, 1 km. Accommodation: 3 rooms (for 2-, 3-, 4-persons), 3 family cottages, independent flat for 4-5 persons. Prices: 30-60 zl/night, breakfast-18 zl, dinner - 28 zl.


9. GORZESZOW

Languages: German, Russian, Farm: This is a small (15 ha) farm, where various vegetables and fruits are grown, goats and hens are kept. There is a vegetable garden and an orchard near it. Guests may fish in the pond. The hosts makes goats’ cheeses and home made smoked meat. Accommodation: campsite. Surroundings: Nearby there are Karkonosze, Walbrzyskie and Rudawy Janowickie Mountains. Together with numerous places of interest like famous castle in Ksiaz and Cistercian monastery in Krzeszow or baroque wayside shrines make this area perfect for bikers and walkers. We invite especially families with children and nature fans. Route description: from Kamienna Gora head for Krzeszow, than take a direction towards Mieroszow and on the mail road after Krzeszowek you will reach Gorzeszow. In Gorzeszow take a right after bus stop (towards reserve) and through the bridge to the farm. Prices: from 5 zl/ person in tent.

Farm: On this 32 ha organic farm grains, potatoes, vegetables and fruit are grown and cows, horses and bees are raised. The farmer offers milk, cheese, butter and buttermilk. It’s a  good place to take a rest from everyday problems. There is a possibillity to organize 6 days trip around Ziemia Klodzka region for 4-8 persons. The campsite is very well equipped. Surroundings: Near the farm there is the Gory Stolowe National Park (Stolowe Mountains) where you can see unique rock formations and rare animal species. A large part of the National Park is a strict reserve. A culture heritage site worth seeing is the basilica in Wambierzyce. From the farm it is also possible to visit the Czech Republic – the border crossing is 7 km from the farm. Accommodation: well prepared campsite. Route description: From Klodzko take the road in direction Walbrzych. In Gozuchowie turn to the left in direction Nowa Ruda. In Scinawka Srednia turn right to Bieganow (near graveyard, up the hill). After the signboard ‘Bieganow’ turn left and drive 1 km more. Prices: 30 zl / night, breakfast: 10 zl, dinner: 15 zl, supper: 8 zl.


11. NOWINA

Languages: German, English (basic), Farm: It is a traditional middle-sized farm (10ha) in a small village between hills and forests. They grow vegeta­bles and fruits. On the farm there are horses, chickens, cats and dogs. The house is more than 50 years old and is covered with traditional wooden roof tiles. A beautiful flower garden surrounds the house. There is a special place for children to play and meet. By  special request, hostess can organise horse tours in the neighbourhood. Surroundings: Nearby there is an old gold mine in Zoloty Stok, a 19th century palace built by the Dutch princess Marianna in Kamieniec Zabkowicki, a unique monastery complex in Henrykow and the only one in Poland household equipment museum. Accommodation: 2 rooms (2x4) with bathrooms; apartment for 2-6 persons with bathroom and kitchen. Route description: The farm is 6.5 km from the village of Henrykow, which is south of Wroclaw. From Wroclaw go to Henrykow. In Henrykow turn left in the direction of Sarby at the first crossroads. After 5 km, at the village of Jasienica turn left again. After 1 km you get to Nowina. Take the first left road. Follow this road. In 0.5 km you will see a white house covered with wooden tiles and a space for horses behind it. 12. NOWINA

Eco-farm, an area of 6 hectares, is situated in Nowina village (Sudeten Foreland region) 60 km in the south of Wrocław.

In the farm corn and vegetables are grown, there is also horse-breeding and goat-farming.

Nico Stouten came to Nowina from Holland. He has a lot of experience in running eco-farms in Germany. Nico makes his goat cheeses putting so much heart into it that, not surprisingly, the cheese is thought to be the best in Europe.

Pia Schuler comes from Germany. She has been keen on horses for ages and always interested in their breeding and natural ways of treatment. She runs equestrian therapy courses working with Polish Breed horses (Koniki Polskie).

Jurek Trawiński is a mountain horse-riding guide. When he happens to be in Poland, he organises adventurous horse-trips. If you try this, you won't forget the experience...

Languages: German, English, Farm: This traditional organic farm (21ha) is surrounded by mountains and forests of Snieznicki Landscape Park. The farmers grow vegetables and fruits and keep goats, dogs and cats. Dinner can be served by arrangement. In the biggest room there is a fireplace. There are two kitchens for guests only. Accommodation: two separate apartments and a cottage (each for 4-6 people); campsite. Surroundings: The attractive natural riches of the region ‑- rich flora and fauna (deer, mufflons, wild pigs), wildlife preser­ves--among them the famous Bear’s Cave--are perfect for active recreation. There are many tourist trails and forest paths (moun­tain‑biking), vast mountainous landscapes and mountain streams full of trout. There are many ski lifts in this area (0,5 and 3 km) and ski center in Czarna Gora (16 km). This farm is a good place to organise trips to the Czech Republic. Route description: Nowy Gieraltow is on the Biala Ladecka River, 40 km from Klodzko and 16 km from Ladek Zdroj. As you reach Stronie Slaskie turn left in the direction of Bielice and continue for about 8 km. The farmhouse is next to this road. Buses go from Klodzko or Ladek Zdroj to Nowy Gieraltow. Prices: 25-45 zl / night..

Languages: English. Farm: The farm is located in south-west part of Poland, in Bystrzyckie Mountains. You can find here peace, fresh mountain air, healthy spring water, forests full of wild plants and animals. This is perfect area for silence lovers and calm hikers. We welcome on our farm especially guests, that enjoy staying in a small group and being close to the nature. That is why, for our guests we offer fully equipped apartment (70 square meters) with kitchen and a big bathroom. That's why you will feel like at home while resting here. You can cook on your own. You can also cook trout from the pond which is located on the farm. If you prefer to eat out, at the distance of 5 km on Spalona Pass, there is small restaurant. During your stay, you are the only guests in our house. Coming to us, you can take your dog with you. Email booking is needed. Accommodation: separate flat for 8 persons, campsite in the orchard. Languages: German, English, Farm: This is a medium-sized (9ha) organic farm, on which various vegetables and fruits are grown. The farmers, with their children Malgorzata and Michal, live in an old  traditional house which is kept in good repair, at the edge of the village. There is a vegetable garden and an orchard near it. A pond, which has a small peninsula, is next to the campsite. Guests may swim and fish in the pond. A nice hall with a fireplace is fitted out as a guestroom. The farmers collect old agriculture machines and tools, to preserve the traditions of  the countryside. They organise ecological lessons for children. Accommodation: campsite. Surroundings: There is a Museum of Apiculture in Kluczbork, where the farmers also run a little market with health food products. Route description: Kluczbork is 45km northwest of Opole. From Kluczbork go towards Lodz (national road no. 45) through Ligota, Wrzosy, Bogdaszowice, Biadacz and Przytkowice to Kamienisko. The farm is next to the main road, on the right. By bus or train from Kluczbork.


16. TRZCINSKO

Languages: German, English. Farm: The traditional manor farm is quietly situated in the Rudawski Landscape Park in the valley of the Bobr River. From the farm one has a perfect view to the twin mountains of Sokolek, with their typical rock formations. Walking, cycling, fishing and rock climbing are possible. The rooms have a washstand and are furnished with antique rustic furniture. The farm is suitable for larger groups too. Accommodation: four rooms (4 x 2) with separate bathroom. Surroundings: you can swim in the Bobr River and in the nearby open-air swimming pool. You can see a lot of famous castles and old German mansions here. Route description: Janowice Wielkie is 12 km east of Jelenia Gora outsi­de the little village of Trzcinsko on the Bobr River. Car: From Jelenia Gora take the E65 road in the direction of Wroclaw. Near Radomierz, turn right towards Janowice Wielkie. In Janowice, cross the river in the direction of Karpniki/Trzcinsko. From the church in Trzcin­sko go in the direction of Janowice Wielkie. After 2 km, at the turn of the street you turn left onto a dirt road. Turn right along the river; after 200 m you will see the farm, which has a U‑shape. Train: frequent trains from Jelenia Gora to the village of Trzcinsko. Prices: 55 zl/night, breakfast: 15 zl.
