1. NOWY SYCYMIN

Languages: German, English, Russian Farm: This is a 20 ha organic farm located on one bank of the Vistula River. On the farm, vegetables and fruit are grown and cows are raised. The farmers also produce sprouts and bake bread. Accommodation is in old, traditional houses and barns. The farmers have a large library (also in English and German) on philosophy. Surroundings: The village of Secymin Nowy was built in the 19th century by Dutch settlers. In the area there are many lakes and ponds. The biggest attractions of the area are the sand beaches on the banks of the Vistula and in Kampinoski National Park.  Poland’s capital Warsaw is 45 km away. Route description: From Warsaw take the road going towards Gdansk. After passing Czosnow turn off this road and drive in the direction of Wilkow till you see a big bank. There turn left and go on for around 2 km. Accommodation: Rooms: 2x2, 1x4, Prices: 35 zl/night, breakfast: 15 zl, dinner: 30 zl, supper: 15 zl.


2. KRZETOW

Languages: German, English, Farm: The large organic farm (100 ha) is picturesquely situated near the River Pilica (150m), 20 m from the forest. The farmers grow different kinds of vegetables and keep sheep (old species), horses. You can hire canoes (9), bikes (6).  The hostess organises canoe trips (20-60 km) with possible nights on others farms. In the village there is a ceramic studio and the galery of folk art. Surrounding: Przedborski Landscape Park with many nature sanctuaries, rare plant and animal species. Route description: Krzetow is 25 km east from Radomsko. The farm is 300 m from the bus stop. There are convenient bus connections with the railway station in Radomsko. Accommodation: five rooms (3x2, 2x4) all with separate bathrooms, campsites. Prices: rooms from 30 zl/person, breakfast: 10 zl, dinner: 15 zl, supper: 10 zl.

 

 


 

3. WOLA UHRUSKA

Languages: German, Russian, Farm (21 ha): is typical for the region, very beautifully situated in the area of Polesie. Cultivation: crops and cereals, fruits and vegetables. Cows, pigs and poultry are kept. The farm is located among hills, in peaceful surrounding. The woman farmer invite you for homemade sausages, Ukrainian beetroot soup (barszcz ukrainski) and Russin dumplings (ruskie pierogi). Accommodation: Rooms: 2x2, 1x3, separate bathrooms. Surroundings: This area has not been discovered yet by the tourist, and is called “Exotic Poland”. Nearby Poleski National Park with many rare species of birds and other animals; south-east part Poland is the region where three cultures meet Jewish, Polish and Ukrainian, that’s why here are many old churches (also orthodox), synagogues (Wlodawa) ; numerous bike routes (3 bikes on the farm) and walking paths help you to visit these attractions. Route description:  Wola Uhurska lies 100 km east from Lublin,, nearby the border with Ukraine (23 km). Prices: 25-30 zl/night, full board: 30-35.
